L&#8217;Europa dell\u2019est e Parigi sono collegate e separate da una strada, una strada che attraversa questo snodo autostradale. \u00c9CHANGEUR PORTE DE BAGNOLET DECEMBRE 2007 \u00e8 stato girato durante l&#8217;inverno 2007-2008 come parte di un esercizio documentario della F\u00e9mis. Christophe Nanga-Oly aveva individuato un campo di operai d&#8217;Europa dell&#8217;Est sistemati in una baraccopoli sul prato lungo la circonvallazione vicino alla porta di Bagnolet, ai margini di Parigi. Si trattava di alcune decine di bulgari di lingua turca, appartenenti a una minoranza stigmatizzata nel loro paese. L\u2019approccio \u00e8 stato molto duro a causa della barriera linguistica: noi non parlavamo n\u00e9 bulgaro n\u00e9 turco, loro parlavano solo poche parole di francese o inglese, la Bulgaria era appena entrata nell&#8217;Unione europea, quindi lo status di questi lavoratori era speciale: indesiderati per lo Stato, la loro presenza sul territorio francese non era per\u00f2 del tutto illegale. Tuttavia, poco dopo l&#8217;inizio delle riprese, il campo \u00e8 stato brutalmente evacuato dalle forze di polizia. La maggior parte degli abitanti del campo sono tornati in Bulgaria pagando il biglietto grazie a un aiuto del Ministero dell&#8217;Interno. Alcuni di loro sono rimasti, dormendo nelle loro macchine parcheggiate in una strada senza nome dall&#8217;altro lato della circonvallazione, tra il comune di Bagnolet e il comune di
